Give Kids a Smile
Give Kids A Smile (GKAS) is a one-day event where dentists, dental staff and community volunteers donate their time to provide free dental care to children who do not have a dentist. The event will provide participating children with preventative treatment such as exams, cleanings, sealants and fluoride varnish.
GKAS is organized by Faxton St. Luke’s Dental Health Center and the Mohawk Valley Perinatal Network. It is made possible by grants from the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital at Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare and the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area.
The Give Kids a Smile 2011 event helped 166 children!
